Terms of service

1.Agreement

These terms of service are an agreement between you and My Homesteads LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Georgia, United States, based in Paulding County. My Homesteads LLC operates StudioHQ, and in these terms we, us and our mean My Homesteads LLC, while StudioHQ means the StudioHQ web application and the services it provides.

By creating an account, clicking to accept these terms, or using StudioHQ, you agree to them. If you use StudioHQ for a company or a studio, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms for that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use StudioHQ.

2.Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may only use StudioHQ with the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian.
• Give us accurate information and keep it up to date, especially the email address on your account.
• Keep your login secure, use a strong unique password, and do not share your account. You are responsible for everything done through your account and for the people you invite into your studios and projects.
• Tell us promptly through the contact form if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
• Administrators of StudioHQ can manage accounts, roles and access so the service can be operated, supported and kept safe.

3.What StudioHQ is, and what it is not

StudioHQ is a planning and production workspace for Roblox development teams. It covers the development lifecycle, tasks and milestones, game design documents, storyboards, team roles and permissions, an asset pipeline, bug reports and QA test cases, launch readiness, release planning, community and marketing planning, budget tracking, post-launch analytics, and an AI assistant that drafts content for your team to review.

StudioHQ is not Roblox, is not Roblox Studio, is not a game server or hosting service, is not a payment processor for your game, and is not an official source of Roblox analytics. We do not connect to your Roblox account and we never ask for your Roblox password, Roblox session cookies, or Roblox API keys. Never enter Roblox credentials anywhere in StudioHQ.

4.Free plan and the StudioHQ Pro subscription

• Free plan: the core planning and production modules, with limits of up to 2 game projects and up to 5 studio members.
• StudioHQ Pro: unlimited game projects and studio members, plus the additional modules and features described on the pricing page, including community and marketing planning, budget tracking, post-launch analytics and live Roblox game statistics, studio rollups, the AI project assistant, weekly task reminder emails, and email support.
• Pro price: 14.99 United States dollars per month, or 143.90 United States dollars per year. The annual option is a 20 percent discount on the monthly price, a saving of 35.98 dollars a year.
• Both options begin with the first month free.
• Prices are in United States dollars and exclude any taxes that apply where you are, which we may add where the law requires it.

5.Billing, renewal and cancellation

• Payments are processed by Base44 Payments, which is powered by Wix Payments. Your payment details are entered on the payment provider’s hosted checkout page and are not stored by StudioHQ.
• The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, at the then current price, until you cancel.
• Your free first month converts into a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before that date. If you cancel during the free month, you are not charged.
• You can cancel at any time from the plan and billing area of your account, or by asking us through the contact form. Cancelling stops future renewals; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• If a payment fails we may retry it, and if it continues to fail we may move the account to the free plan. Paid features stop working until payment succeeds.
• If we change the price of a subscription, we will give you at least 30 days notice before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
• You are responsible for any taxes other than taxes on our own income.

6.Refunds

Because the first month is free, there is nothing to refund if you cancel before your subscription starts. After that, subscription payments are generally not refundable, and we do not provide refunds for partially used periods.

We will refund a charge if we took it in error, if you were charged twice for the same period, or where the law gives you a right to a refund. Send us the details through the contact form and we will check the transaction. Nothing in these terms removes a consumer right you have under the law where you live, including any statutory withdrawal right for digital services in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom.

7.Your content

You keep ownership of everything you create or upload to StudioHQ, including design documents, art, models, audio, code and notes. You only grant us the permission we need to run the service: a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to store, back up, transmit, display to the members you added, and process your content so that StudioHQ can work and be supported.

You confirm that you have the rights to the content you upload, including assets you did not create yourself, and that uploading it does not break anyone else’s rights or any agreement you have with a client, a contractor or a platform.

Do not upload content that is illegal, that contains another person’s confidential information, or that you do not have the right to share. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not use it to train our own models.

8.Acceptable use

StudioHQ is a workspace for building games. Use it in good faith and do not use it to:

• break any law or regulation, or help someone else do so.
• harass, threaten, bully, defame or discriminate against anyone, or publish hateful content.
• publish sexual content, or any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a minor. This is an immediate-termination matter and may be reported to the authorities.
• publish another person’s personal information, such as a home address, school, phone number or private photographs, without their consent.
• upload malware, remote access tools, token grabbers, cheats, exploits, or anything designed to bypass Roblox security or to harm a player’s device or account.
• upload or trade stolen, pirated, leaked or misappropriated assets, models, plugins, or accounts.
• run scams or deceptive offers, including fake Robux or limited-item sites, gambling services, account trading, or misleading monetisation aimed at children.
• send spam, scrape the service, or place unreasonable automated load on it.
• resell, white-label or sublicense StudioHQ, or present it as your own product.
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, or defeat access controls, role checks or usage limits.
• impersonate another person, studio or company, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
• use the AI assistant to generate content that breaks these terms, or to produce anything unlawful or harmful.
• probe or test the security of the service without our written permission.

9.Roblox and other third-party rules

You are responsible for following the rules that apply to the platforms you build for, including the Roblox Terms of Use and Roblox Community Standards. Public game statistics shown in StudioHQ come from Roblox’s publicly available interfaces and may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable; they are shown for information and are not a representation by Roblox.

StudioHQ is an independent developer tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. Roblox is a trademark of Roblox Corporation, and we use the name only to describe what StudioHQ helps you build.

10.Studio roles, permissions and administration

Studio owners and project administrators decide who joins and what each member can do. Role and access checks are enforced by the database on every request. You are responsible for the members you invite and for the access you grant them, so remove people promptly when they leave a project.

StudioHQ administrators can access data in the app to operate, support and protect the service, and their actions are recorded in an audit log.

11.AI features

The AI project assistant produces drafts. Model output can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong, so a person must review it before you rely on it. It is not legal, financial, tax or professional advice, and we do not guarantee that any particular model or feature stays available.

Do not give the assistant information you are not permitted to share, and do not treat its output as a substitute for your own review or for advice from a qualified professional.

12.Availability, changes and beta features

We work to keep StudioHQ available, but we provide it as available and without a service level commitment unless we agree one with you separately. We may perform maintenance, and we may add, change or remove features as the product develops. Some features are marked as new, beta or experimental and may change or be discontinued.

We may set reasonable usage limits, including limits on file sizes and uploads, to keep the service fast and available for everyone. If we disable a module, it is hidden rather than deleted, and your records stay in place.

13.Suspension and termination

• You can stop using StudioHQ at any time and ask us to delete your account and the content you own.
• We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaks these terms, uses the service unlawfully, puts other people at risk, particularly minors, or fails to pay.
• Where it is practical, we will notify you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. For serious safety risks, or where the law requires it, we may act immediately.
• When an account ends, your right to use StudioHQ ends too. We may delete content after a reasonable period, so export or request a copy of anything you need first.
• The sections of these terms that by their nature should continue to apply, including your content licence for backups, our intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law, survive termination.

14.Our intellectual property

StudioHQ, including its software, design, templates, lifecycle phases, checklists and written content, is owned by My Homesteads LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use StudioHQ under these terms for your own studio and project work.

Templates, lifecycle phases and checklists are for use inside your own studios. Do not copy, repackage or redistribute them as part of a competing product.

If you send us feedback or a suggestion, we may use it without obligation to you. You keep ownership of your own content as described above.

15.Copyright and intellectual property complaints

If you believe content on StudioHQ infringes your copyright or another intellectual property right, send us a notice through the contact form with the subject Copyright notice, including: your name, address, phone number and email address; a description of the work you say is infringed; the exact location of the material, such as the page address and a screenshot; a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner; and your physical or electronic signature.

We will act on properly formed notices as the Digital Millennium Copyright Act requires, including removing or disabling access to the material, notifying the person who posted it, and handling counter-notices. Accounts that repeatedly infringe will be terminated.

16.Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, StudioHQ is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, that data you or your team enter is accurate, that Roblox game statistics are accurate or current, that AI generated drafts are correct, or that the service will meet a particular commercial result. Keep your own copies of critical assets, documents and code.

17.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, My Homesteads LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of StudioHQ, even if we were advised that such loss was possible.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to StudioHQ in any twelve month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period, or one hundred United States dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and nothing removes a consumer right you have where you live.

18.Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless My Homesteads LLC and its members, officers and agents from claims, damages, losses and reasonable costs, including legal fees, arising from your content, your use of StudioHQ, or your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party right. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and allow you to take over its defence, and you will not settle a claim in a way that admits fault on our part without our consent.

19.Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, and the applicable federal laws, without regard to conflict of law rules. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

If a dispute arises, tell us through the contact form first and give us 30 days to resolve it in good faith. If we cannot, you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia, and for matters that may be heard there, venue in Paulding County. Either party may still bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek urgent injunctive relief.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or another region whose consumer law gives you mandatory protections and a right to bring proceedings locally, nothing in this section removes those protections.

20.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. If a change is material, we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect, and we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use StudioHQ after the effective date means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service, and cancel your subscription before it renews if you have one.

21.General

• If a part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
• If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of it.
• You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to an affiliate or to a successor in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and we will tell you if we do.
• Notices to you may be given by email to the address on your account or in the app. Notices to us should be sent through the contact form.
• We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
• Headings are for convenience only. These terms, together with the privacy policy and the cookie policy, are the whole agreement between us about StudioHQ.
